What memory would you want to relive?

The artist developed this photobook with a photographic experience through anonymous storytelling. The means of approach to the project formed from what more and honest things people tend to share when we do not have to reveal our identity. Therefore, the artist created two anonymous question boxes with the question ‘What memory would you want to relive?’ for people to write down their story.

With the project the artist seeks to create a multidimensional experience with the combination of something as personal as a memory with photography. Working with film photography to visualise an interpretation of these memories the artist acts upon  instantaneous feelings to reconnect to each individual memory when composing the photograph. Making the visual aid aims to build the relation of imaginative reliving through symbolism within the photographs creating an emotional connection to the memories. Preserving the handwriting from the notes, each unique full of personal traits with memories wanting to be relived.

From the ups and downs, heartbreak and love, in the lost and found in the intimate form of a book and not knowing who they belong to, leaves you to experience a sense of wonder.
